whosthefool

Everyone is hunting smart money. We went the other way: each day, we find consistently losing wallets in Hyperliquid's public trading history, score them, and deal them as cards. Check their record, pick a fool, and take the other side with a budget you choose. Not convinced? Skip. All you need to start is an email or Google account and some USDC.

How to play

1. Pick a fool

Every day we pull the whole Hyperliquid leaderboard, tens of thousands of wallets, and keep the ones that are still trading, still funded, and still losing. Each one gets a Fool Score.

Fool Score runs from 0 to 100. It looks at the wallet's last 30 days of perp trading, straight from Hyperliquid's numbers: how much they lost as a share of how much they traded. 50 means they broke even. Every 1% of their volume they managed to lose adds 10 points. A 100 has lost 5% of everything it touched in a month. That takes talent.

The 1,024 highest scores make the deck. Every card shows the score, six months of PnL curve (mostly downhill), the fool's open positions with leverage, win rate, payoff ratio and recent trades, plus a link to the on-chain record so you can check our work. Cards are re-scored daily. Fools who reform, or go quiet, drop out.

Skip is free. Always. Skipping is not a trade.

2. Set a budget and Fade

Press Fade, pick a budget, confirm. From here on, whosthefool mirrors the fool for you, upside down.

The rule: your budget is split the way the fool splits their margin, and each leg uses their leverage on the opposite side. If they're all-in 10× long BTC, you're 10× short BTC with your budget. If they're spread across three coins, so are you, inverted. When they add, cut, flip or close, your side follows within about a minute.

If the fool is sitting in cash, so are you. The Fade waits and opens the moment they do. Each Fade lives in its own wallet with its own budget, so one bad Fade can't touch another one, or your main balance.

3. Track results and end any time

Portfolio shows every Fade: what you put in, what it's worth now, and the PnL. End a Fade whenever you like. Positions close at market and the remaining funds return to your balance. To change the budget, end it and fade them again with the new amount.

Where it goes wrong

The honest part. Fading a fool is still a leveraged perp position, and it can lose. Here's how:

  • Fools have good days. A wallet that lost for 30 days can win the next 30. The score says they've been losing, not that they're cursed.
  • You inherit their leverage. If they're 20×, you're 20×, and a 5% move the wrong way ends that leg. A reckless fool makes a reckless mirror.

The most a Fade can lose is its budget. whosthefool is an entertainment product, not financial advice. Bet what you'd happily lose to a fool.

Wallet security

We use Turnkey, a specialist wallet security service, to protect your wallet. Think of it as a secure vault for the key that controls your wallet, called a private key. You just sign in with email or Google to use it, without needing to learn how to manage a seed phrase first.

That key is stored encrypted, and whosthefool cannot read it. Your funds are in your own Hyperliquid account, and withdrawals require your authorization. Automated Fades receive permission to trade; that permission cannot be used to withdraw your money.

You stay in control of your wallet. Export your private key from the account menu at any time to manage the account with your own wallet. Read about Turnkey security.

Points

The first points reward round started on September 4, 2026. Every fill you make earns points, instantly. Trade more, earn more.

Invite people and earn 20% of the points they earn, on top of theirs, for as long as they keep fading. View your points and invite code.

FOOL rewards per round

Points rewards continue across successive rounds: Round 1 allocates 25% of the total token supply, Round 2 12.5%, with Rounds 3, 4 and each later round halving the allocation. The table shows the first five; later rounds follow the same rule. All rounds together distribute no more than 50% of the supply: 1,250,000 FOOL.

Allocation by points weight

At each cutoff, your share of all participants' points for that round determines your share of its FOOL rewards. Points include both trading and referral points.

Rn= S2n+1 Ai,n= Rn⋅ Pi,n ∑jPj,n

S = 2,500,000 FOOL is the fixed total supply; n = 1, 2, 3, … is the round number; Rn is the total reward allocation for round n.

Pi,n is user i's points for that round. The denominator sums the points of every participant in that round; Ai,n is the user's FOOL allocation.

For example, 1% of the points in Round 1 earns 6,250 FOOL. Round cutoffs and claim details are published through announcements.

$FOOL

$FOOL is the whosthefool token for trader rewards, with staking and points boosts introduced in Phase 3.

Launch and liquidity

The issuance network is Robinhood Chain, with a FOOL / ETH market on Uniswap v4. The initial liquidity position contains only 1,250,000 FOOL. Its LP NFT is minted directly to the dead address, so the team cannot withdraw that position.

Token trading fees

The pool charges 1% of swap output, collected in ETH for team operations. Its LP fee is 0%. This is separate from the builder fees earned by the Fade trading product.

Rewards and claims

Trader rewards are allocated by points weight, with each round's budget halving. See the points reward rules for allocations, amounts and formulas. Claim details are published through announcements.

FAQ

What does it cost?

0.1% of each fill we place for you, charged by Hyperliquid as a builder fee. That's it. We make money only when you trade. Browsing, skipping, holding, depositing, withdrawing: free.

Hyperliquid's own fees and funding apply, the same as for anyone trading there.

Phase 2 will connect builder fees to buybacks and operations. See the Roadmap for details.

Can I connect my own wallet?

No. Sign in, get a wallet, fund it from anywhere, export the key whenever you like.

I faded someone and nothing happened.

They're in cash. The moment they open, you're on the other side. If every position they hold is under $10, nothing can be placed. Find a bigger fool.

What if the fool gets liquidated?

Their position vanishes, so yours closes. You were on the other side of the move that took them out. That is the dream.

Does whosthefool hold my money?

No. Your wallet, your keys, your Fade budgets. We can only place orders inside a Fade you started.
